Lily Smith

Lily (she/her) is an emerging musician whose work is rooted in the intersection of the arts, healing, and community engagement. A second-year student at Western Michigan University, she is pursuing BM degrees in Music Performance and Music Therapy, with the goal of becoming a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). Lily plays cello at WMU, where she is a musician in the University Symphony Orchestra. She is currently an arts administration intern at
Wellspring, a cello instructor at Helen L. Fox Gospel Music Center, and a student representative on the Arts in Action Kalamazoo board.

During her ongoing journey, Lily hopes to advocate for others, support youth development, and strengthen her community through her craft. She believes in the power of the arts to foster connection, healing, and lasting social impact.
