18TH ANNUAL RADFEST

MARCH 5-7, 2027

KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN

RADFest (Regional Alternative Dance Festival) is a juried event hosted and supported by Wellspring, Southwest Michigan’s oldest professional dance company. The festival showcases the best in modern, post-modern, contemporary, and experimental dance from around the world. Events take place across three days in Downtown Kalamazoo, with the Epic Center as the hub.

RADFest provides emerging, professional, and experimental artists the opportunity to present their work without financial barrier, while also offering professional development opportunities such as master classes, workshops, lectures, discussion panels, and community engagement events.

RADFest 2027 will present live stage performances, installation and site-specific works, a Screen Dance film series, master classes, workshops, facilitated discussion groups, a youth showcase, open rehearsals, and a variety of engagement and networking opportunities for artists and audiences. Selected artists receive a presenting stipend and may apply for lodging assistance. All participating artists receive promotional and media support.
