Asa Lindbloom

Asa Lindbloom is a Kalamazoo and Chicagoland artist and educator. Asa has been dancing for as long as they could walk, and teaching for more than a decade. Styles they have taught include ballet, musical theatre, jazz, tap, modern, all types of ballroom and Irish dance, as well as various theory and conditioning/stretching classes.

They have studied and/or performed with Grand Rapids Ballet, Minnesota Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Cecchetti Council of America, Royal Academy of Dance, Kalamazoo Ballet Company, Ballet Arts Ensemble, Young Americans, Jerry Mitchell, etc. Soloist performances include Nutcracker, Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre, Swan Lake, Paquita, Cinderella, Magical Toy Shop, Peter and the Wolf, and more.

They have performed professionally and interned clerically with Queer Theatre Kalamazoo and have choreographed many K-12 school musicals.

They earned their Bachelor of Arts in Dance from WMU, where they assistant taught Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes. They have just under a decade of experience fitting pointe shoes and love to offer any help in that area!
