Adrian Martinez

Arts Administration Intern

Adrian Martinez (she/her) is a senior at Western Michigan University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, with a minor in Advertising and Promotion and a certificate in Dance Studio Management. Her academic journey has included coursework in lighting and staging, dancer training theories, and dance composition. She now works as the Apparel Committee Coordinator for the WMU Dance Department’s Orchesis Dance Society Board.

Adrian has had the privilege of performing in works by Kaitlyn Pollock, Jeremy Blair, and student choreographers, as well as in Lily of the Nile by Loïe Fuller, reconstructed by Megan Slayter and Jessica Lindberg. She also served as rehearsal director for the First Year Performance Class, working closely with Kaitlyn Pacini for WMU Dance 2025 Winter Gala.

In addition to her academic and performance experience, Adrian teaches dance in Portage and is the Summer 2025 Arts Administration Intern at Wellspring Dance Academy. Her passion for education, performance, and arts management continues to drive her toward supporting and enriching the dance community, and she is excited to join the Wellspring team this summer!
