Adult Contemporary Ballet
Ages 15+. This class focuses on the basics of Ballet technique. Classes consist of floor and barre exercises followed by center work and across-the-floor combinations. Classes are a nurturing, non-competitive, yet rigorous environment where students work through the basic foot, arm, and body positions to offer ease in moving through space. Working with our bodies to utilize ballet technique, students will cultivate an understanding of artistry that builds health and wholeness. Body strength, flexibility, and stamina are developed and rhythm studies and musicality are studied. Body alignment and placement are taught from a somatic approach
