 Internships at Wellspring

Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers seeks talented individuals who are interested in gaining valuable experience in arts administration at a cultural non-profit organization.

Interns are an important part of our organization. Wellspring makes a commitment to providing project-based, meaningful work with a focus on career development for all interns. Participants will experience a broad overview of the organization through involvement with various special projects and events. Interns receive direct supervision and participate in regular check-ins with their on-site supervisor. Many are on their way to enjoying successful careers in the nonprofit performing arts sector.

Internships are hosted year-round for Fall, Winter/Spring (Rad Fest), and Summer.

Applicants must be 18+ and authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

You are a great candidate for our Internship Program if:

  • You are a current student and recent graduate who is pursuing a career in the performing arts, arts education, or arts administration

  • An individual who is seeking an opportunity to gain applicable skills for work in the nonprofit arts sector

  • Are professional and life-long learner who is looking to engage with the arts and put their skills to use

You will be successful in this role if you are:

  • Curious and eager to learn

Compensation

Our internships are currently unpaid, however, interns will be granted volunteer hours through the Wellspring Volunteer Corps which are able to be used toward concert tickets at a future event or toward tuition for classes in the Wellspring Dance Academy. Additionally, interns may have access to professional development programs and workshops for free through their experience. Travel stipends may be available for non-local RAD Fest interns.

Wellspring is also happy to work with academic departments to offer course credit where appropriate.
