Francesca Pileci-Bates

Francesca Pileci-Bates is from London, England and received a BA with Honors and earned her Masters degree in Dance from Trinity Laban. Since coming to the U.S., Francesca has traveled abroad to study “Gaga” technique with Batsheva Dance Company members, perform with DV8, Hofesh Schecter Company, Rambert Dance Company in London, England, Susan Marshall & Company in NYC and this past season with Diavolo Architecture in Motion in Los Angeles and Eisenhower Dance's 25th Anniversary alumni performance. Performance credits also include London Theaters, BBC Television, ITV, Channel 4, Detroit Opera House and Music Hall, Detroit. Choreography credits include Eastern Michigan University’s dance program, NDEO and MAPSA. Francesca joined Wellspring in 2005 as a company member and has also toured in NYC with the company in 2009-2010 in both the fall and spring and in the winter of 2013.  Francesca is also a certified tenured dance educator with Kresa's Education for the Arts.
